Sakurada Jinja (Shrine) (Juro-jin)
Sakurda Jinja, dedicated to Juro-jin who bestows long life, was originally established in Kasumigaseki in 1180. It was restored by OOTA Dokan and rededicated at its present location in 1624 (first year of Kanei). From this spot right near the spectacular Roppongi Hills, walk from Roppongi-dori to Terebi Asahi-dori; then looking to your left down Keyaki-zaka you will see a torii on your right. The villa belonging to ABE Harima-no-kami of the Mutsu Shirakawa-han also stood near the shrine. OKITA Soshi of the Shinsen-gumi was also born here and his grave is in a nearby temple.
