Ark Hills / Suntory Hall
Enter Ark Hills from Spain-zaka. After passing through the symbolic arch, you will see Ark Karajan Plaza spreading out in front of you. A waterfall flows directly ahead. Suntory Hall, a hall for classical music, is on your right. Karajan Plaza was named in honor of the great maestro Herbert von Karajan, who served as an advisor for the design of Suntory Hall. Take a brief break at the open terrace cafe and relax in the gentle sunlight while watching the waterfall flow. The main entrance to Suntory Hall houses a music box of pipes. At noon and other scheduled times the doors open and a cute doll turns a music box playing a light song. There are various concerts in the hall almost every day. If you wish to buy a ticket for that day’s performance, go to the box office to the right of the main entrance.
