Minato City Sample Sightseeing Guide

How about taking a walk through the area of slopes and museums? Let your mind run through the slopes of Edo while you enjoy the arts!

Minato City has many slopes and museums. Among them we will tour the slopes in the areas surrounding Toranomon, Akasaka and Roppongi and introduce “The City of Slopes and Museums” where you can enjoy the arts.

Sightseeing Model Route

Take Tokyo Metro Hibiya Subway Line and get off at Kamiya-cho Station (about six minutes’ walk).

The Okura Shukokan Museum

Slope in front of Okura Shukokan (about 0 minutes’ walk).


Walk down Edomi-zaka; it is immediately on your right (about 0 minutes’ walk).

Kikuchi Kanjitsu Kinen Tomo Bijutsukan

The slope to the left from the bottom of Edomi-zaka (about two minutes’ walk).


From the top of Shiomi-zaka, walk along the side of the American Embassy; it is the slope stretching off to the left (about 0 minutes’ walk).


Walk about 200 meters from the top of Reinan-zaka; it is next to the Spanish Embassy and in front of the Swedish Embassy (about 2 minutes’ walk).

Senoku Hakuko Kan Bun-kan

Take the small slope between the Senoku Hakuko Kan Bun-kan and the Spanish Embassy heading toward Roppongi-dori (about 1 minute’s walk).


The entrance to Ark Hills is partway down Spain-zaka on the right (about 0 minutes’ walk).

Ark Hills / Suntory Hall

Take the escalator up from Ark Karajan Plaza to the rear of the ANA Hotel (about two minutes’ walk).
